Be sure to check your color mode. We will print your image in CMYK mode. If your image is in another mode, such as RGB, we will perform a color shift and this will adjust the look of your image. When you create your file, make certain it is in CMYK mode so that it will print correctly.

Return to your shade

Use the "browse..." button below to find your image on your computer. When you have selected the image, click the "upload this image" button. Be sure to acknowledge and accept our Terms of Use Policy by checking the "I understand" box first. Upload might take a while, so please be patient.

Our system accepts these six common file formats: JPG, GIF, TIF, BMP, PNG or EPS. If you need help to get an image ready, check Preparing & Using Your Images .

TERMS OF USE
 
Due to the wide range of images the Your Images system will accept and print, MakeShade’s  100% satisfaction guarantee DOES NOT APPLY to shades with uploaded images (unless, of course, the shade is damaged and/or fabricated incorrectly).
 
MakeShades cannot be held responsible for the quality of uploaded images. Your shade is sent directly to our printer, so we will not "touch-up" your file unless you call and request this service. Call 800-426-9496 if you want us to redraw your artwork at $50/hr (one hour minimum). Otherwise, make sure that you are satisfied with the quality of the image before sending it.
 
Keep in mind that an image which looks good on your computer screen will not necessarily look good when it is expanded to fill a large Shade. Our system will tell you which shade sizes are recommended for Your Image if you wish to meet our minimum quality standards. Images with insufficient resolution for large format printing lose their clarity; they will look jagged, unclear, and "pixelated" when printed. MakeShades reserves the right to refuse orders containing image uploads which:
 
-- do not completely conform to the details, instructions, methods, and guidelines set forth in Preparing & Using Your Images; and
 
-- originate from or relate to objectionable or illegal activities, e.g.; drug use, pornographic products or services; and
 
-- include data or graphics that could be considered discriminatory, offensive, obscene, threatening, harassing, intimidating or disruptive. Examples of unacceptable content may include, but are not limited to, sexual comments or images, racial slurs, gender-specific comments, or any other comments or images that could reasonably offend someone on the basis of race, age, sex, religious or political beliefs, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law; and
 
-- Which may include official trademarks and logos that require special licensing or corporate permission; and
 
-- MakeShades, in its complete discretion, may refuse to produce any other signage that it may deem inappropriate.
 
Customer acknowledges that he/she has the necessary permissions for all graphics and/or photos uploaded into a MakeShades template and assumes all responsibility for any trademark violations and/or copyright infringements. User warrants that he/she has procured all rights to duplicate the uploaded image or "Uploadable Material" and agrees to fully indemnify MakeShades.com, its officers, employees, agents and any users harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including all legal fees that may arise or result from any service provided or performed, any product sold, any copyright infringement, or arising out of or by reason of a breach or alleged breach by User of the representations, warranties, or agreements made under this contract.
 
Our Terms of Use are subject to change at any time. Users will be asked to read and sign the Terms of Use each time an image is uploaded
